2015 will see no breakthrough in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
Tensions on the border will continue, Armenian political expert Karen
Bekaryan told journalists on Friday.
He said that it will be a hard year as the Azeri-Turkish tandem will
continue provocations on the border in order to distract the world
community's attention from the commemorations of the centennial of the
Armenian Genocide.
According to Bekaryan, the last statements by the Armenian President
and Defense Minister have proved that Armenia is not going to endure
Azerbaijan's cynicism any longer and will apply punitive measures if
need be.
"It was a signal to the OSCE MG and the Azeri military leaders that if
the war resumes, it will be Azerbaijan's fault," Bekaryan said.
Concerning the last statement by the OSCE MG, he said that the co-
chairs have realized that the situation is serious and toothless
declarations cannot help here any more.
