7th anniversary of tragic events in Armenia's capital

March 1, 2015, marks the 7th anniversary of tragic events in Armenia's
capital, which claimed ten lives.
A traditional rally will take place in Yerevan with the participation
of the victims' relatives. Flowers will be laid at the Myasnykyan
monument in memory of the victims.
On March 1, 2008, opposition forces protested the results of
presidential election in Armenia. The authorities used force, which
resulted in ten deaths, leaving hundreds injured.
Among the killed were David Petrosyan, Grigor Grigoryan, Tigran
Khachatryan, Armen Farmanyan, Gor Kolyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan,
Zakar Hovhannisyan, Samvel Harutyunyan, Hamlet Tadevosyan and Tigran
Abgaryan.
