NATO DELEGATION VISITS ARMENIA

A NATO delegation has arrived in Armenia to evaluate documents within
the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).
Delegates of the NATO and members of the inter-department commission
realizing the IPAP said that the NATO-Armenia cooperation was going
uphill and goals set in the document were being realized, News.am
reports.
Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Ovakimyan and First Deputy
Defense Minister David Tonoyan greeted the Alliance delegation and
emphasized progress in the realization of the Plan.
Armenia and the NATO are cooperating in peacekeeping missions in
Afghanistan and Kosovo, democratic and civil control and behaviour
in the Armed Forces.
