ABOYAN CITY MAYOR, GAGIK TSARUKYAN'S SON-IN-LAW SEVERED FROM PAP; HE RETAINED MAYOR'S OFFICE

Abovyan city mayor, Gagik Tsarukyan's son-in-law Karapet Guloyan
severed himself from PAP at today's congress.
He will, however, retain the mayor's office.
Political Council member Napoleon Azizyan also severed himself from
the party. It is unknown yet who else has joined the "castoffs" ranks.
Yesterday ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs Vardan Oskanian told about
his resignation from the party. Grigor Makaryan, Karo Karapetyan,
Rustam Gasparyan, Harutyun Gharagyozyan and Aragats Akhoyan had
severed from the party earlier.
To note, at PAP congress its ex-leader Gagik Tsarukyan said about
his withdrawal from big-league politics, party president's office
and its faction head's position. Faction secretary Naira Zohrabyan
has become Tsarukyan's successor. She said that the party would be
in the opposition's camp.
