The head of the Armenian Church in Ukraine, Archbishop Grigoris
Bouniatian just disappeared in Kharkov. He was 69 years old. Born in
Echmiadzin in 1946, he held numerous positions representative of the
Armenian Church worldwide.Bishop Grigoris Bouniatian was the head of
the Armenian Church in Ukraine since 2001. His surprise disappearance
has excited the Armenian community of Ukraine. The Union of Armenians
of Ukraine expresses condolences in connection with the disappearance
of a very active and valued man.
