SERZH SARGSYAN HOSTS FRENCH-ARMENIAN RACE DRIVER

President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received Nicolas Minasyan,
a prominent French-Armenian award winning race driver.
Greeting the guest in his office, the Armenian leader said that
the country always takes pride compatriots having success on the
international arena. He praised the sportsman for maintaining ties
Armenia but also offering willingness to help the country and its
people, reports the presidential press service.
Minasyan said he feels very happy for visiting his home country and
launching an effective cooperation with the Automobile Federation. He
briefed the president on his plans to found a car-race school in
Armenia to encourage the youth's interest in the sport. Minasyan said
he hopes that car race would serve for charity purposes in the country.
Hailing the sportsmen's programs, the president expressed his
willingness to assist in their realization to promote the development
of race driving.
