PROSPEROUS ARMENIA PARTY 'DISINTEGRATION' TO CONTINUE - HMAYAK HOVHANNISYAN

Chairman of the Union of Political Scientists of Armenia Hmayak
Hovhannisyan is sure that processes within the Prosperous Armenia
party will continue as the causes of disintegration of the bipartisan
alliance formed by once dominant political forces - the Prosperous
Armenia party and the Republican Party of Armenia - have not yet
been identified.
"After this disintegration process is over, a new configuration
can be forecast, to 'varnish' the political arena," Mr Hovhannisyan
told Tert.am.
In commenting on a number of resignations by Prosperous Armenia
party members, Mr Hovhannisyan said that people who have intimate
relationship with ex-chairman of the Prosperous Armenia party Gagik
Tsarukyan are leaving the party.
"They are thus showing their loyalty," he said.
