WHY DID ARMEN MARTIROSYAN AND RUBEN HAKOBYAN MEET SERZH SARGSYAN?

Head of the Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobyan has issued
a statement explaining the reasons for a recent meeting between Serzh
Sargsyan, Armen Martirosyan and himself.
"I am receiving numerous calls from media representatives who are
inquiring about the meeting with Serzh Sargsyan. In particular, they
want to know whether the meeting was initiative by Armen Martirosyan
and me or by the Party.
I can say that the meeting took place with the consent of the Party
and was discussed at the political council's meeting. Chairman of
the Party, Raffi Hovannisian was also informed of the meeting.
The meeting aimed to clarify their opinion on the three proposals
made by the Heritage during a conference "Constitutional reform:
Pros and Cons" which was organized a few months ago. Serzh Sargsyan
said they are ready to discuss the proposals. We said that our final
position on constitutional reform will depend on the response of an
expert committee.
Yesterday, Heritage lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan said during the
consultation held at the party her teammates reacted negatively to
Serzh Sargsyan's invitation to discussions around the constitutional
reform
