EURONEST PA DELEGATION CONFERS ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE RESOLUTION

YEREVAN. - The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Central
Office was the venue Tuesday for the official meeting and ensuing
talk between the Armenian and the Euronest (European Union+Eastern
Partnership countries) Parliamentary Assembly (PA) delegations.
RPA Vice-Chairman Armen Ashotyan, who is also the Minister of Education
and Science of Armenia, presented the history and activities of the
party, and the current political and economic situation in the country.
Subsequently, a resolution on the condemnation of the Armenian
Genocide was introduced, and the participants discussed the avenues
for further cooperation.
The Euronest PA delegation is in Armenia's capital city of Yerevan
since March 15, and it has met with several influential politicians
of the country.
