ARMENIA TO LAUNCH FLIGHTS WITH KUWAIT BY LATE 2015

Armenia's minister of economy on Thursday unveiled a government plan
for launching direct flights with the State of Kuwait.
Karen Cshmarityan said that the project was on discussed in the course
of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan's visit to the country earlier
this month. "We have issued Fifth Freedom for the Kuwaiti side. So
they can carry out flights from here to take passengers to Europe or
to other places," he told reporters.
The minister said he knows that the premier and Kuwaiti officials have
also agreed over submitting to the country's Investment Authority a
business package proposed by Armenian entrepreneurs.
"At the same time. they asked us to submit a package on the investment
regime in general to enable them to introduce Armenia to their
businessmen," he said, adding that he sees the country's interest
to develop partnership especially in agribusiness, infrastructure
projects and manufacturing of construction materials.
