WTO RELATED CONFERENCE OPENS IN YEREVAN
YEREVAN, APRIL 29, ARMENPRESS: A week-long conference initiated by
Ottawa Center for Trade Policy and Law /CTPL), Armenian trade and
developments ministry and regional partners of CTPL in Russia,
Georgia and Ukraine has started today in Yerevan on the topic of WTO
Accession and Implementation: Regional Experience.
In a keynote speech Armenian deputy trade and economic development
minister, Tigran Davtian, highlighted that the major result of
Armenia's more than a 12-month membership in WTO was the rise in
export volumes and creation of more favorable conditioners for local
exporters.
Ottawa CTPL has implemented a series of projects in Armenia since
its inception in Armenia in 1993.
