    ORANGE AROUND THE PARLIAMENT

The two groups of people gathered near the two entrances of the
National Assembly building warned the workers of the legislative
branch of power that they are ready for rougher steps. The reason of
the both actions of complaint was the new draft Constitution.

Near the NA main entrance on the Baghramyan street the shelterless
citizens of the North and Main Avenues were gathered with posters
and made announcements against the adoption of the new Constitution.

"Ideal as the Constitution may be, as long as the present powers
remain, it will be violated all the same", said the participants
of the first session and warned that in 10 days they will spread
an announcement after which they will defend their rights more
    aggressively.

By the way, while the above mentioned warning sounded in the
Baghramyan avenue, near the second NA entrance on the Demirchyan
street orange flags with a blue and red cross on were waving. "Orange
is the most Armenian color, and the choice of the color was not an
aim in itself. The cross which has been the fight of Armenia and its
population is another symbol", this was the explanation of Arshalouys
Galstyan, member of the initiative group of the youth organization
    "Menq".

The members of the organization created 1.5 month ago who are
exceptionally students of higher educational institutions, mention
beforehand that they have no political aims and the orange color has
nothing to do with the revolution.

The young people had come to the NA building to pass their demands
to the deputies. The demands are as follows: the National Assembly
must adopt a favorable Constitution for the nation; the wide strata
of society must be aware about all the clauses of the Constitution,
the NA must set aside all the personal problems and avoid the pressure
of all the possible foreign dubious organizations.

The young people passed their demands to the NA in an envelope, after
which they announced, "If our demands are not taken into account,
    we will take rougher steps".
