SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE TO BE HELD

At the beginning of June the 1600th anniversary of invention of the
Armenian alphabet and the foundation of the school in Amaras will be
celebrated. Celebrations have already begun at schools and
universities. Within the framework of these celebrations a scientific
conference will be held on March 29 â=80` 30 organized by the faculty
of physics and mathematics of Artsakh State University. The topic of
the conference is `Contemporary Problems of Teaching Mathematics' . A
committee consisting of six members was chosen under the head of the
vice rector of ASU Artem Abrahamian. The conference will open on March
29 at the monastery of Amaras. On the same day reports will be made in
different places of the region of Martuni. On the same day reports
will be made at the schools of the villages of Karmir Shuka,
Machkalashen, Martuni, Spitakashen and Berdashen with the
participation of the teachers from these and the neighbouring
villages. On March 30 the conference will continue in Stepanakert. At
ASU reports will be made for the teachers of Stepanakert and Shushi.
