MONTEVIDEO, DECEMBER 29, ARMENIANS TODAY - NOYAN TAPAN. Sergio
Margarian, Uruguayan coach of Armenian descent, has been appointed
the head coach of Universidad de Chile, one of the best football
clubs in Chile.
According to Radio Liberty, 64-year-old S. Margarian, who has coached
the national team of Paraguay, Panathinaikos (Greece) and Cruz Azul
(Mexico), declared that his goal is to make Universidad Chile's
champion.
