was to appoint me Armenian prime minister

ArmInfo. 'One of the few Levon Ter-Petrosyan's true decisions was to
appoint me Armenian prime minister', - Armenian President Robert
Kocharyan told journalists when asked by ArmInfo correspondent to
comment on statements of the first Armenian president.
He also added that Levon Ter-Petrosyan personally asked him to occupy
the post of the Armenian prime minister. 'Time will come and will tell
all the details of my appointment. Maybe it plaid a fatal part in
Ter-Petrosyan's destiny, but it was a positive decision for Armenia', -
Kocharyan said. When commenting of Ter-Petrosyan's intention to reduce
the number of the Armenian army, Kocharyan said that a man 'which was
going to cede Karabakh, to refuse international recognition of the
Armenian genocide and to become younger brother of Azerbaijan, does not
need army at all'. Kocharyan is surprised with Ter-Petrosyan's team
which is going to imprison several known politicians after gaining a
victory at the presidential election. 'I did not expect that Levon
Ter-Petrosyan would devaluate his rating so much. I will calm him down
- we are not going to punish or imprison anybody after the election;
none of them will be forced to ran away to Dubai', - Kocharyan said.
