REPRESENTATIVE OF HOLY SEE OF ST. ETCHMIADZIN PARTICIPATES IN LAMBETH CONFERENCE

The 14th Lambeth Conference kicked off July 19 in the campus of the
University of Kent situated on a hill to the south of Canterbury
and will last until August 3.
Press service of the Holy See of Etchmiadzin told Armenpress that
Karekin II sent his blessing to the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan
Williams and all the participants of the conference.
With the blessing of Catholicos Karekin II the primate of the USA
Western Diocese of the Armenian Church Archbishop Hovnan Terterian
is participating in the conference representing the Holy See of
St. Etchmiadzin.
The Lambeth Conference is Anglican Communion's bishops gathering
which is being held once in 10 years. It discusses a number of issues
the Anglican Communion's churches are facing as well as contemporary
challenges of the world.
