ARMENIAN ELECTRIC NETWORKS' NEW CONTRACTS WITH CONSUMERS DELAYED BECAUSE OF TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

YEREVAN, July 29. /ARKA/. The process of signing new contracts
between consumers and Armenian Electric Networks on power supply
is being delayed because of technical problems, Evgeny Gladunchik,
the director general of the company, said on Monday.
In particular, he said that the delay is caused by summer leaves.
Gladunchik said that new contracts with consumers are a mere
bureaucratic procedure prompted by some legislative changes.
The director general also said that re-registration of 900,000 is
not so easy process, but the company will handle it soon.
