The perpetuation of the occupation of Azeri territories by Armenia
could make the use of force in resolving the conflict over Nagorno-
Karabakh inevitable, Azeri Defense Ministry spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu
said on Wednesday.
"Armenia should liberate the occupied territories, for otherwise the
use of military force would be inevitable," Sabiroglu said at a press
conference on Wednesday.
The Azeri armed forces are prepared to liberate the occupied land,
he said.
"If the occupation of Azeri territories by Armenia continues, this
could lead to undesirable developments in the region," Sabiroglu said.
The Azeri government is making all necessary steps to make the national
armed forces more powerful, he said.
