    ARMENIAN PM DISCUSS COOPERATION ISSUES WITH UN
    COORDINATOR CONSUELO VIDAL

    YEREVAN, JUNE 6, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Prime
    Minister Tigran Sargsian received today the UN
    permanent coordinator in Armenia, UNDP permanent
    representative Consuelo Vidal.
    Governmental press service told Armenpress that
    greeting the guest the prime minister noted that
    Armenia highly underscores the programs carried out in
    Armenia by different UN agencies which involve in them
    different spheres, promoting the creation of dignified
    living conditions for the people. Tigran Sargsian
    confirmed the readiness of the Armenian government to
    ensure favorable conditions for complete
    implementation of the mission of the organization in
    the country.
    Consuelo Vidal presented to the prime minister the
    programs carried out by UN agencies in Armenia, noting
    that their wish is to carry out them effectively for
    the sake of prosperity of Armenia and its people. She
    noted that currently a new program of cooperation with
    Armenia is being worked out and they expect the
    support of the government and the prime minister
    during the development of the program so that most
    necessary directions and priorities of the government
    be included in it.
    ?We are politically neutral organization, and we
    believe that our efforts directed towards the
    development will promote the solution of the issue of
    polarization of the public,? she said.
    The prime minister on his turn expressed hope that
    with the support of the UN the government will be able
    to carry out all its ambitious programs.
