NKR delegation visiting Germany

Since June 2 the NKR delegation led by Speaker Ashot Ghulyan has been
in Germany. The delegation includes chairs of the NKR National Assembly
Committees, the head of the NKR Investment Fund and the representative
of the NKR foreign ministry.
The press service of the parliament reports that the NKR delegation is
participating in the conference on the role and importance of
Nagorno-Karabakh in the development of the South Caucasus held by the
European Academy of Berlin.
The NKR delegation has already met with the members of the German
parliament, representatives of some analytical centers in which urgent
issues concerning the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,
promotion of democracy in NKR, as well as the activity of the European
organizations for the integration of the South Caucasian region were
discussed.
On June 4 a soiree was held at the Concert House of the Permanent
Representation of NKR to Germany was held in Berlin, which was part of
the NKR government program of celebrations of the 20th anniversary of
the Karabakh movement. The representatives of the embassies to Berlin,
public and political sets of Berlin were invited.
Simultaneously 10 to 15 representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora
held an action of protest in front of the Concert House.
