    NALBANDYAN BACK FROM BRUSSELS

    In the frame of visit to Brussels minister of foreign affairs of RA,
    Eduard Nalbandyan, met Benita Fereno-Valder, European commissioner
    for External Relations and European Neighbourhood policy. As it is
    reported from the press and information administration of foreign
    affairs ministry at the meeting two-way positive mark is given to
    the realization of European Neighbourhood Policy project and in the
    frame of the latter within the chances of cooperation more efficient
    use of perspectives have been discussed.

    During the meeting both sides turned to the activity of political
    dialogue modes between Armenia and EU and to the realization of
    bipartite projects in different spheres.

    At the same day Nalbandyan met the chairman of Senate of Belgium,
    Arman De Dekker. Noticing that the parliaments are on good terms,
    Nalbandyan turned to the developing relations of the States paying
    much attention to the parliamentary diplomacy.

    They also discussed the problem concerning to the situation of internal
    policy of the two countries.

    Then Arman de Dekker represented the situation in Ireland, the result
    of referendum after the rejection of Lisbonian agreement`s ratification
    and the perspectives of overcoming it.

    Note that in June 18 during the meeting with Yaap de Hoop Schaefer,
    chief secretary of NATO, the minister highly evaluated the results
    of 26+1 North Atlantic Council session noticing that it is of great
    importance for Armenia to carry out such continual consolations. Yaan
    de Hoop highly evaluated the NA`s decision to double the number of
    Armenian peacekeepers in Kosovo.

    Remind that Nalbandyan has been in Brussels in three-day working
    visit since June 17.
