The day-long meeting held by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian,
Primate, with the priesthood candidates offered a distinct opportunity
for the candidates to receive the necessary guidance from the head and
spiritual father of the Western Diocese in order to successfully
accomplish their journey towards the future clerical assignments they
will be entrusted with in the future.

On March 18, 2008 and during the magnificent and spiritually

On March 18, 2008, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate,
presided over the Remembrance Church Service for the Ten Maidens at
St. Peter Armenian Church ` Youth Center in Glendale, California.

On March 18, 2008 and during the magnificent and spiritually
significant occasion of the Holy Week and Easter, His Eminence
Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, accompanied by several clergy
from the Western Diocese, visited the Manoogian-Demirjian School in
Canoga Park. The Primate offered communion to the enthusiastic
students and staff. Vice-principle Dr. Eli Antreasian greeted the
Primate and the accompanying clergy upon their arrival.
