PRESERVATION OF STABILITY IN ARMENIA IS GUARANTEE OF COUNTRY'S DEVELOPMENT AND PERMANENCE OF REGIONAL PROGRAMS

YEREVAN, MARCH 21, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian
and Peter Semneby, the EU Special Representative for the South
Caucasus, at the March 21 meeting, touched upon the home political
situation formed after the presidential elections in Armenia and the
post-electoral developments.
Possible steps aimed at restoration of public solidarity were
discussed. The sides emphasized that preservation of stability in
Armenia is the guarantee of permanence of regional programs.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, V. Oskanian and P. Semneby also touched
upon the voting of the draft resolution proposed by Azerbaijan
in the UN General Assembly and its consequences. Regional issues,
Armenian-Turkish relations and their prospects were also discussed.
