PRESIDENT'S ADRESS ON THE YEREVAN DAY

President Serzh Sargsyan issued a message on the occasion of the
Yerevan Day. The message states, in part:
"Dear citizens of Yerevan, Dear compatriots,
I congratulate all of us on the occasion of the Yerevan Day.
This year this traditional holiday is more festive also because we
celebrate the 2790th anniversary of establishment of Yerevan.
Really, few capitals have а biography full of events of millennia,
which is being written today in the spirit and with the logic of
progress. This is a reality that makes all of us continue working
for the sake of development of Yerevan, the citizens of Yerevan, all
humanity for whom it has become one of the symbols of national revival.
Once again congratulating everyone on the occasion of the Yerevan Day,
I wish prosperity to the capital city and festive spirit and all the
best to the citizens of Yerevan."
