PRESIDENT TOOK PART IN THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLAGE OF DIPLOMATS

President Serzh Sargsyan took part at the annual assemblage of
top executives from the central apparatus of RA Ministry for
Foreign Affairs and the heads of diplomatic missions and consular
establishments accredited in RA.
During his speech the president referred to the essential tasks and
missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also spoke about the
situation of the region and the consequences it had raised.
According to Mr. Sargsyan, the recent conflicts which had caused
death of hundreds of people and raised tensions through the whole
region also damaged the economy of Armenia. Therefore, for successful
development of RA economic system there should be established stability
and security in Caucasus.
The present situation has at least three essential problems for
Armenia: the resolution of the so called "freezed conflicts", the
transit roads and the rise of tensions in international relations,
the president said while answering the questions of the diplomats.
