ArmInfo. Vice president of the Union of Armenians of Russia Gegham
Khalatyan has commented on the statement of Azerbaijan's ambassador
to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu where the latter threatens to commit
aggression against Armenia and calls it, for some reason, peace
enforcement of Armenia.
'First of all, I would like to note the nonsense of Bulbuloghlu's
statement.
Urging his country to commit aggression with regard to Nagorno
Karabakh, he says about peace enforcement of Armenia. I understand that
this formula is now in fashion, however, it is ridiculous to hear that
from a man who urges to launch a war under the conditions of peace
and says about peace enforcement. According to the elementary logic,
just Azerbaijan will have to be enforced to peace if it launches
an attack', Khalatyan said. He also said it is strange to hear
such bellicose statements from a man who used to be among the big
delegation of the Russian, Azerbaijani and Armenian people of culture
having visited Nagorno Karabakh, Yerevan and Baku with a so-called
peace mission. Perhaps, such a people's diplomacy gives no tangible
results as it is carried out by the people who harbour thoughts of
revenge like Polad Bulbuloghlu. This may only desolate, Khalatyan said.
