IN JAN-JUL 2009 FIXED DEPOSITS OF AMERIABANK GREW BY 185%

ArmInfo. Fixed deposits of Ameriabank demonstrate a stable growth,
particularly, in Jan-Jul 2009 the fixed deposits grew by 185%, and by
34% in July alone. The Ameriabank press-service told ArmInfo that 82%
of deposits attracted in Jan-Jul are deposits of legal entities.
According to the source, in Jan-Jul the growth of individuals'
deposits made up 316%, and the fixed deposits of legal entities in
July grew by 35% and amounted to 35 bln AMD by 1 August 2009.
To note, according to the results of the first half year of 2009,
Ameriabank held the first position in the Armenian banking system by
fixed deposits of legal entities, having secured 26 bln AMD by 1 July.
