Georgia is out of the `false and artificial CIS'
Today during the press conference Paruyr Hayrikyan, the head of the
Union for National Self-Determination, touched upon the fact of the
Georgian soldiers entering the Bavra district of the Shirak region and
forbidding the Armenian countrymen to cultivate. The speaker mentioned
that the Armenian and the Georgian being neighbors for centuries today
have appeared in different poles.
According to the speaker after the ruining of USSR and receiving
independence the leaders of Armenia and Georgia were to sit together
first of all around the table and to discuss the question of the
boarders.
According to the speaker the first leaders of Armenia having the luck
of `The Brave Nazar' and appearing on that position have preferred the
easiest way and have chosen the way of legalizing what was unjust,
instead of demanding a just solution.
Coming up to August 18 when Georgia officially quitted CIS
P. Hayrikyan mentioned that the step of the authorities was correct as
that institution was `false and artificial'.
`Compared with the International institutions it is wrong to treat the
CIS seriously, especially when all its members have a western
disposition', - mentioned the speaker.
