ARMENIAN YOUTH TEAM COMES THIRD AT INTERNATIONAL BOXING FRIENDLY

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Today, Armenian youth team yielded 16:21 to Russians,
taking the 3rd place in the team event.
Uzbek boxers inflicted a 21:16 defeat on the Georgian team, taking
the 2nd place. The Georgian team is at the bottom of the score table
with 3 lost tours.
The Russian team became the winner, finishing the tournament with
3 victories.
The award ceremony was held right after the completion of the combat
between Armenian and Russian boxers. Besides cups and medals awarded
to the winners, medals and diplomas were handed to referees and
tournament organizers.
National Olympic Committee President Gagik Tsarukyan awarded Armenian
Boxing Federation President Arman Muradyan with a Diploma for an
excellent organizational work and contribution to the development of
box in Armenia.
Different nominations were instituted. Thus, Russia's Aydar Netoleev,
awarded with a cup of Russian Youth Team, was nominated for best
boxer and Russia's Dmitri Matveyev for best referee. Also, memorial
souvenirs were awarded to the Olympic champion Vyatcheslav Yanovskiy,
Russian Boxing Federation Deputy President Andrey Korobkov and Armenian
Boxing Federation Deputy President Derenik Gabrielyan.
