EDWARD NALBANDIAN AND PETER SEMNEBY DISCUSS EASTERN PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 19, NOYAN TAPAN. Eastern Partnership initiative
was discussed at the February 19 meeting of Armenian Foreign Minister
Edward Nalbandian and Special Representative of the EU to the South
Caucasus Peter Semneby. The interlocutors expressed a hope that
cooperation in this format will open new opportunities for extending
relations with European structures and EU member states. The results
of E. Nalbandian's visits to Warsaw and Prague were discussed as
well. Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Semneby also touched upon
the negotiation process of the Artsakh problem, as well as the
opportunities for regulation of Armenian-Turkish relations.
