A NUMBER OF HIGH-RANKED OFFICERS AWARDED HONORABLE MEDALS OF NA AND DIPLOMAS OF GRATITUDE

YEREVAN, JANUARY 28, ARMENPRESS: Armenian National Assembly Speaker
Hovik Abrahamyan awarded a number of high-ranked officers with
honorable medals and gratitude diplomas of the NA on the occasion
of the Day of Army. Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, members of
parliament, high-ranked officers of the Defense Ministry were present
at the ceremony.
NA public relations department told Armenpress that for increase of
the level of protectiveness of the country, for active participation
in the process of reforms of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of
the 17th anniversary of the Armenian army Defense Minister Seyran
Ohanian, head of the General Headquarter of the Armenian Armed Forces
Yuri Khachaturov, deputy defense minister, General-Lieutenant Alik
Mirzabekian, deputy defense minister Ara Nazarian and head of the
legal department of the Defense Ministry, Colonel Sedrak Sedrakian
have been awarded honorable medals of the National Assembly.
For clear and conscientious implementation of service duties head of
the department dealing with the work with the staff of the Armenian
Armed Forces, General-Mayor Vardan Avetisian and Commander of the
Armenian Defense Ministry's peacekeeping forces brigade, Colonel
Arthur Simonian have been awarded diplomas of gratitude.
