"Core values unite us and will make us faster, more efficient,
more focused, more responsible, more transparent and closer to our
customers," he added. "VivaCell-MTS is closely aligning its business
performance with its commitments to society. For 2009 the company
adopted very rigorous, highly focused, corporate responsibility
programs: VivaCell-MTS to Children, VivaCell-MTS is Culture's Friend
and VivaCell-MTS is Sports' Partner."
He also stressed that the company is the republic's major tax
payer. "In 2008 we replenished the national budget with 30.8 million
AMD. "Besides, our company has 1200 employees and this figure will not
decrease because of the global financial crisis," Mr. Yirikyan said.
For his part, Mr. Raspopov said that VivaCell-MTS is a success model
for healthy operations and will proceed on being as such. "The company
delivers top performance and excellent results. Even more competitive
services will be offered to the Armenian market in 2009 with the
launch of 3G network," he said.
