/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian-Georgian relations are not so smooth, as
some people imagine, Eurointegration NGO's chair Karen Bekaryan said
during Yerevan-Tbilisi TV bridge. "As a matter of fact, bilateral
ties are on the level of diplomatic gestures," he stressed.
Touching upon Moscow's response to Georgian President's visit to
Armenia, he also noted that both Russia and Armenia were astonished by
Saakasvili's being awarded an Honor Order. "Besides, Georgian public
has a stereotype that Yerevan is more interested in Armenian-Georgian
relations than Tbilisi. Unless such stereotype is overcome, bilateral
relations will remain on the same level," Bekaryan stressed.
