LOS ANGELES (CBS) Two suspects were caught on tape robbing a Van Nuys
    liquor store at gunpoint.

Police have released surveillance footage of two gunmen who robbed
    a Van Nuys liquor store.

The holdup happened about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at a liquor store in
the 13000 block of Victory Boulevard.

Police say the two men walked into the store, pointed a gun at the
clerk and "stole several packs of cigarettes and lottery tickets,
then threw the cash register to the ground and took an undisclosed
    amount of cash.

One suspect demanded to know where the surveillance video could be
located and both men tried to get into a back room, but were unable,
    police said.

The suspects fled in a dark-colored minivan.

The first suspect, who was armed with a chrome handgun, was described
as an Armenian man in his early 20s with a thin build. He was wearing
a black shirt, black pants, a dark baseball cap, a black and white
    scarf and black gloves.

The other suspect was also an Armenian man in his early 20s, with a
medium build. He was about 5 feet 7 inches and 170 pounds, and was
wearing a brown jacket, black shirt, a dark baseball cap, a black
and white scarf and black gloves.

Anyone with information on the robbery can contact Van Nuys Detective
    Vivian Flores at (818) 374-0079 or (877)-LAPD-24-7.
