MOURNING DECLARED IN ARMENIA ON 16 JULY BECAUSE OF THE AIRCRAFT CRASH IN IRAN

According to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's decree, mourning
is declared in Armenia on 16 July because of the aircraft crash in
Iran on 15 July with numerous victims including Armenian citizens,
press-service of the president reported.
To recall, as deputy chairman of Armenian Civil aviation Department,
Arsen Pogosyan, said earlier, 6 Armenian citizens, 4 - passengers
and 2 members of the crew were on board of the crashed aircraft of
the Caspian Airlines company which was implementing Tehran-Yerevan
flight, Wednesday. Another 29 passengers had Armenian names, but they
were not Armenian citizens. The total of 168 people died as a result
of the crash.
