CATHOLICOSATE OF GREAT HOUSE OF CILICIA CONTINUES PUBLICATION OF RELIGIOUS TEXT-BOOKS

ANTELIAS, JULY 22, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Publication of new
text-books on religion started two years ago under the sponsorship of
the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia continues: a volume
is published every year. According to the Patriarchate of Antelias,
books published up to now are envisaged for pupils at the age of
8, 12, 14. Religious knowledge, corresponding to those age groups,
the Bible, saints, holidays and traditions of the Armenian Church,
prayes with colourful pictures, splended printing are involved in the
volumes. Each of the text-books has a teacher's guidebook. Text-books
for pupils at the age of 6 and 10 with the teacher's guidebook are
being at present prepared for the publication.
