With development of information technologies, racial hatred and
genocide denial are growing exponentially. Turks and Azerbaijani
continue their denialism policy on the Web, specifically on Facebook
and YouTube, French freelance journalist Jean Eckian said in a
letter obtained by PanARMENIAN.Net. "The countries which have already
recognized the Armenian Genocide should pass a law penalizing denial
of the first genocide of 20th century," he said.
"The Armenian Diaspora all over the world calls on lawyers to take
action against those disseminating hatred and denial. We, the heirs
of those who survived the Genocide, we still feel the consequences
of the atrocity perpetrated by the Young Turks," Mr. Eckian said.
