DMASIA-25 November 2009-'Armentel introduces ADSL2+ standard'
Armenian operator Armentel is introducing ADSL2+ technology, offering
download speeds up to 24 Mbps. The operator announced the new service
alongside promotions on existing broadband services, valid until
year-end. The Hi Line Unlimited 1024 tariff is now available with a
free wireless modem, while subscribers taking the Hi Line Unilimited
512 tariff will pay ADM 4,800 for a modem and those on Hi Line
Unlimited 256 tariff wil get the device for ADM 7,200. Since early
this year, the ADSL services are available throughout the country.
