hosting 3-day public panel discussions on water resources, hazardous

through joint initiative of FPWC and OSCE Yerevan Office, with the
assistance of YSU Research Center for Ecology Laws.
Today's discussions focused on climate change. The meeting featured
"Age of stupidity" film screening, followed by discussions. Head
of OSCE Yerevan Office, Ambassador Sergey Kapinos emphasized the
importance of discussions, which serve as a further stimulus towards
solution of ecology issues.
Director of Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural
Assets, Ruben Khachatryan noted in his turn: "Major ecological issues
can't be resolved without society's participation. Major ecology
problems have to be resolved in South Caucasus to promote further
development in the region."
