UK Foreign Minister David Miliband did not rule out the possibility
that European Partnership program can be a springboard for its
member states to join EU. Miliband stated delivering a speech at the
International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London.
He also underlined the Eastern Partnership role in economic reforms.
"If our eastern countries unite into economic association, it will
improve both their and our energy security," said Miliband.
May 7, Eastern Partnership Summit in Prague aimed at establishment
of relations with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia and
Moldova. EU approved 2009-2013 project, allocating â~B¬600 million.
