Ashot Poghosyan, head of the press center of the 'Patvi Gorts (Matter
of Honor)' Armenian-Russian benevolent organization, which is engaged
in the organizing of the improvement works of the territory, told
Armenpress that a monument, dedicated to the lieutenants, will be
erected on the Hill of Honor. The monument is like that of blown up

'Hill of Honor' memorial complex is the burial site of the 156 Russian

wars. It was established on the decree of Colonel N. Muravlev.
The idea of restoration of the 'Hill of Honor' memorial complex belongs
to Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko. A working group,
headed by President of Pan-Armenian Youth Center Andranik Nikoghosyan,
was established 2009 for the coordination of the works.
