4357 tons of vegetables and 826,4 tons of fruits have been sold in the republic
YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS: As of August 24, 4357 tons of
vegetables and 826,4 tons of fruits have been sold in the republic.
Gevorg Ghazaryan, head of a department of Ministry of Agriculture,
told Armenpress that 2848 tons of sold vegetables come to share to
tomato, from fruits the 201 tons to apricot. The latter does not
include the apricot sold for making dried fruit.
`In general the year was not favorable,' Ghazaryan said, explaining
that the spring rains noticeably damaged the plants of vegetables and
fruits.
