CRIMES COMMITTED BY MINORS ROSE IN 2009

In 2009, there were 532 crimes committed by minors in the Republic
of Armenia, as compared with 477 cases in 2008, with 477 minors
committing crimes in 2009, as compared with 282 minors in 2008.
Only 243 of those cases in 2009 were sent to court. Criminal charges
in 234 cases were dropped.
Out of 310 incidents of crimes by minors, 259 involved theft.
