ALIYEV HIMSELF AGREED TO THAT PROPOSAL IN SAINT PETERSBURG: SHAVARSH KOCHARYAN

"We have a typical expression of amnesia," Armenia's Deputy Foreign
Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said during Haylur news program on
Thursday, as he referred to a recent statement by Azerbaijani
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elhan Polukhov who said that in Saint
Petersburg only working proposals were made and only by one of the
OSCE Co-Chair countries - Russia - therefore the OSCE Minsk Group
format of negotiation was broken.
Shavarsh Kocharyan recalled that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev
himself agreed during that trilateral meeting to proceed with the
talks based on that document.
"The Co-chairpersons have visited the region, discussed the progress
based on that very document which they supported. That document
was referred to in Almaty too, eventually the co-chairpersons have
publicly spoken about that document," said Kocharyan.
According to him Azerbaijan has always had the same conduct: it does
not see what is not beneficial for it.
"The result is that it does not see what is obvious for all," explained
Shavarsh Kocharyan.
