Ukrainian Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko will visit Armenia
in August. A document on illegal immigration will be signed between
the two countries, issues of mutual interest will be discussed,
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Armenia
Alexander Bozhko told a press conference.
The diplomat also addressed the developments between the two countries
during his tenure noting that the main factor in Armenia-Ukraine
bilateral relations is the economic contacts. He noted that tendencies
of rise in commodity circulation are observed between the two countries
over the past three years.
According to the Ambassador, Armenia-Ukraine political relations are
also high-level. He noted that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich
has met with President Serzh Sargsyan on various occasions for 8
times already.
The Speaker regretted to say that his diplomatic mission in Armenia
is completed by Kiev's decision. According to Mr. Bozhko, information
about his dismissal from Ambassador's post was spread ahead of time
since a new Ambassador has not been appointed yet, and Bozhko still
continues his diplomatic mission.
