Former Armenian Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan has stated that the
Armenian government will try to fake up 3-4% GDP growth by the end
of 2010.
He also said that it's immoral to describe 2011 national budget as
socially oriented.
"The national budget revenues totaled AMD 746 billion in 2008, AMD 760
billion in 2009 and AMD 770 in 2010. These are expected to reach AMD
850 billion in 2011. With 26% inflation during the past four years,
the revenues will actually decrease by 12%," Bagratyan told journalists
on November 2.
"The minimum salary was raised from AMD 30 thousand to AMD 32,5
thousand, i.e 6%, while inflation was 20%. This means that the salary
was cut, as a matter of fact," he said.
