Duduk master Jivan Gasparyan is looking forward to a joint concert
with his friend and colleague Boris Grebenschikov.
`I put off my concert in Russia to play a concert with Boris,' the
Armenian musician told a news conference in Yerevan.
`It was in 1970s that we played in Yerevan last. To us, a concert in
Yerevan is truly a happy event, ' Aquarium frontman Boris
Grebenschikov said.
The rock-musician characterized the possibility of a joint performance
with Armenian duduk master Jivan Gasparyan as an incredible
experience.
`I could never imagine meeting Jivan, let alone playing with him,'
Grebenschikov said.
On October 31, Boris Grebenschikov and Aquarium band will complete
their Krasnaya Reka tour with a concert in Yerevan.
PanARMENIAN Photo will be responsible for exclusive photo coverage of
the concert.
The concert, organized by SHARM HOLDING with the assistance of the
Armenan Ministry of Culture, is timed to the 300th anniversary of St.
Petersburg's Armenian community.
