Azerbaijani population of Nagorno-Karabakh has increased from 50,000
to 75,000 people over the past 20 years.
Head of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh Bayram Safarov
has arrived in Beylagan District to participate in events marking 18th
anniversary of the Armenian occupation of Jabrail and Fizuli districts.
Safarov met with representatives of the executive authorities of
Azerbaijani districts occupied by Armenian armed forces.
He particularly noted that the Azerbaijani population of
Nagorno-Karabakh has increased from 50,000 to 75,000 people over the
past 20 years.
The Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh is working to open its
representative offices in capitals around the world, he said.
"This is a long and painstaking process, but we will do our best to
gradually open our missions abroad," Safarov said.
