YEREVAN. - High-voltage transmission line will be set up between
Armenia and Georgia in the near future, Armenian Minister of Energy
and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan told at a press conference.
The implementation of the project will cost $25 million instead of
planned $20 million.
"However, Armenia's benefit from the project will be bigger. We can
export electricity from Armenia to Georgia and from there to Turkey,"
added the Minister.
