Russian expert predicts strengthening of Tehran-Yerevan relations

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is interested in balancing between the EU
and Russia, Iran and U.S., Middle East Research Institute President
said, forecasting stresngthening on Tehran-Yerevan relations.
According to Yevgeny Satanovsky, if Azerbaijan starts a new war in
Karabakh conflict region, Tehran will probably stay neutral. `However,
Iran's Armenian community will clearly offer serious support to
Armenia. Same goes for Armenian communities in U.S., Egypt, France,
Lebanon,' the expert said.
`Iran is irritated by the regime in Azerbaijan, not falling under
Tehran's control. Tehran is attempting, through Azerbaijan- residing
Iranians to establish its influence on Azerbaijan's territory. To
Iran, Azerbaijan- Israel relations is a key issue. To prevent their
establishemnt, Iran will go to any length, ' he noted, according to
